A Day in the Life

Meet Laoise Robertson: Apprentice Sustainability Assistant

Laoise joined Browne as an Environmental Sustainability Apprentice and quickly became part of a supportive community that builds confidence and belonging.

Inspired by women in senior roles, she’s empowered through mentoring, training, and industry events to lead in a male-dominated field.

“My colleagues have been really patient and understanding—it’s given me a stress-free space to grow and learn. Seeing other women succeed in the built environment shows what’s possible.”

For Laoise, it’s not just about learning a role—it’s about growing into a future shaped by inclusion, support, and opportunity.
